Marketing Coordinator/Specialist – Vancouver Office

YLaw is a leading and rapidly growing law firm specializing in family, employment, estate, strata, and immigration law. As we continue to grow and evolve our brand, we are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to play a key role in executing our rebrand and driving consistent, high-quality marketing initiatives across all channels.

Time spent will initially focus on the immediate marketing and social media needs of the CEO and YLaw, including email campaigns, content creation and rebrand activities. Long-term, the role will strategize conference attendance, broader events and profile-raising activities within the Firm’s current markets, and beyond. The role will work closely with the CEO – YLaw to support her profile-raising activities personally and for the Firm. In addition, the incumbent will support other lawyers and leaders in activities aligned with raising YLaw’s profile in the market in a manner that differentiates it from the competition.

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator will support and execute YLaw’s marketing strategy with a strong focus on rebrand implementation, social media, conferences and events, client feedback outreach, brand consistency, and marketing collateral. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented marketer with 3–4 years of experience and intermediate-level marketing knowledge.

Responsibilities

Rebrand Execution (Internal & External)

  • Support the execution of YLaw’s rebrand across all internal and external touchpoints
  • Coordinate updates to marketing materials, digital assets, templates, and brand documentation
  • Ensure internal teams are equipped with updated brand assets and guidelines
  • Assist with rollout planning, timelines, and cross-functional coordination

Profile Raising, Brand Management & Consistency

  • Work with COO and Director of People and Operations to create a marketing strategy for YLaw
  • Execute tasks from marketing strategy, and create an ongoing marketing and external engagement calendar
  • Ensure consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across all marketing and client-facing materials
  • Maintain and update brand guidelines as the firm evolves
  • Review materials for alignment with brand standards
  • Pitch YLaw lawyers to strategic media agencies and contacts to raise profile in alignment with Firm’s values – TV, print, online, podcasts
  • Identify strategic sponsorship opportunities and present business case to Leadership in alignment with Firm’s values

Social Media & Digital Presence

  • Manage and schedule social media content across relevant platforms – leveraging voice of CEO, Leadership and lawyers including providing guidance on individual social media strategies
  • Collaborate internally to create engaging, on-brand content that emphasizes the value YLaw brings, and differentiates YLaw from competitors
  • Monitor engagement and performance and provide insights

Conference & Event Marketing

  • Support conference attendance and event marketing strategy and execution
  • Coordinate event materials, signage, swag, and follow-up communications
  • Assist with market research for speaking opportunities for Leadership members
  • Track outcomes and support post-event engagement

Client Feedback & Outreach

  • Coordinate client feedback initiatives and surveys
  • Support collection of testimonials and reviews
  • Collaborate with leadership to translate feedback into improvements

Marketing Materials & Collaboration

  • Create and update marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and proposals
  • Run email communication campaigns with clients and prospects track KPIs and report to leadership
  • Coordinate with external vendors as needed
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support firm-wide initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably within a professional services environment
  • Intermediate-level marketing knowledge with strong execution skills
  • Experience supporting or executing a rebrand is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of key social media platforms that mirror needs of practice
  • Understanding of SEO strategies and tactical execution
  • Able to create professional and polished content in Canva, or other visual editing platform
  • Project-plan oriented, able to take direction with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience in professional services or legal environments is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $50,000-$65,000
  • Schedule: Full-time, Vancouver office with occasional travel to Langley
